Cookies & Device Storage Notice

Session cookie

DEASJobs uses a secure session cookie so that a signed-in user remains authenticated. This is intended to be strictly necessary for the service requested by the user.

Feed preference storage

DEASJobs currently uses browser local storage to remember job-feed filters selected by the user. When a person arrives through a referral or campaign URL, DEASJobs also temporarily stores first-touch referral and UTM parameters so they can be attached to an account if that person signs up. The v21 compliance checklist requires a formal ePrivacy/cookie audit to confirm the production classification and whether any change to storage or consent handling is needed.

Cloudflare Turnstile

DEASJobs uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection during authentication. Its production technical storage/signals and contractual privacy position should be confirmed as part of the processor and cookie audit.

Analytics

DEASJobs's product analytics are sent to DEASJobs's own backend after signed-in product events. The current product does not add Google Analytics, advertising pixels or targeted-advertising cookies.

Consent banner

If the production audit confirms that DEASJobs uses only storage that qualifies for an applicable strictly-necessary exemption, a consent banner may not be needed. If non-essential cookies or device storage are added later, consent controls must be implemented before they are used.

Installed app and offline cache

If you install DEASJobs, its service worker can cache the app shell and offline page on your device so the installed web app can start reliably. API responses containing account data are not deliberately cached by the service worker.

Push notifications

If you opt in to Web Push, your browser provides a push subscription endpoint and cryptographic keys. DEASJobs stores these on its backend to deliver notifications. You can disable this in Account & Privacy or in browser/device settings.
