DEASJobsFor DEASJobs users aged 16–17
Your account details, profile, job preferences, applications and recruitment history. You can optionally upload a CV/photo and use location for distance matching.
Employers see information through an application. For profiles marked 16–17, DEASJobs disables direct sharing of your email, CV and profile photo by default. Employers can still invite you to an interview and send an offer through DEASJobs.
DEASJobs filters out jobs that do not match selected requirements such as age eligibility and your chosen filters. It then gives jobs a fit score using interests, availability, distance/location, pay preference, work type and experience. The score only helps order your feed. It does not decide whether an employer hires you.
DEASJobs is not designed to sell personal data to advertisers. The current product does not contain targeted advertising.
Inside Account & Privacy you can change sharing settings, export your data, make a data-protection request, report or block an account, and delete your DEASJobs account.
If you join through a DEASJobs referral, school/college partner or campaign link, DEASJobs may record that source to understand whether the service is reaching young people effectively. This information is not used to decide whether an employer should hire you and is not used to target third-party advertising.
An employer can message you only after you have applied for one of its jobs. You can report a message or block an account. DEASJobs also uses behavioural safety flags for human review; these flags do not decide whether you get a job.
You can choose whether DEASJobs sends push notifications to your phone or browser. You can switch them off at any time. Important application information also remains available inside DEASJobs.
